502 Limited Cocoa Edition
Extending a moment held in time. At dawn, hand in hand.
Images cross and softly intertwine.
Zesty tangerine, fresh eucalyptus, enveloped by cocoa. A loving memory.
All about this fragrance
Vibe check
A slow morning with someone familiar, when conversation is quiet and there is no hurry to leave. Mandarin and eucalyptus keep the mood awake, while cocoa, rum and soft woods lend a sweetness suited to close company rather than a grand entrance.
How to wear
Start with one or two sprays on skin in mild or cool weather, allowing the citrus and eucalyptus opening to settle into cocoa and woods. In warmer conditions, apply lightly: the aromatic freshness offers contrast, but the sweet, creamy core still brings warmth.
Who it’s for
For those who enjoy gourmand fragrances with an aromatic edge rather than uninterrupted sweetness. Cocoa and rum provide richness, while eucalyptus, citrus and dry woods will appeal to tastes that favour contrast, texture and a less confectionery interpretation of chocolate.

The nose
Clément Marx composed the 502 Iris Cartagena Eau de Parfum, revisiting the earlier Extrait’s cocoa-and-wood theme with a brighter aromatic contrast. Mandarin and mandarin petitgrain bring citrus lift, while cocoa infusion and eucalyptus give this interpretation a lighter, fresher opening.
Collaborators
Founder Ludovic Bonneton supplied the autobiographical inspiration behind 502: memories of falling in love in Colombia. His shared dawn on Barú island provides the emotional setting for this Eau de Parfum’s reinterpretation.
Bon Parfumeur’s story
Bon Parfumeur treats fragrance as a way to preserve memories and emotions, pairing French perfumery traditions with contemporary, gender-inclusive compositions. Its numbered fragrances encourage exploration beyond conventional categories, while French manufacturing and attention to packaging reflect the house’s emphasis on considered production.
502 Limited Cocoa Edition’s concept
The Eau de Parfum carries 502’s Colombian love story from an evening in Cartagena into dawn on Barú island. Where the original Extrait evokes a dinner ending with coffee, rum and chocolates, this interpretation introduces mandarin and eucalyptus freshness around cocoa, extending the memory into a shared morning.
Extra info
The formula includes upcycled cocoa butter alongside cocoa infusion and coffee absolute. This limited-edition Eau de Parfum is a deliberate reworking of the earlier 502 Extrait, not simply the same composition at a different concentration.
