All about this fragrance

Vibe check

A shower before dressing, when the pace is still unhurried: creamy musk and a soft aromatic touch make washing feel less purely functional. The mood is intimate rather than showy, with the scent of skin—not a statement perfume—at the center.

How to wear

Use on wet hands or body, work into a rich lather, then rinse thoroughly. Suitable for a year-round bathing routine, its fragrance is best enjoyed in the foam rather than treated as a lasting perfume. Start with a small amount and add more as needed; the formula is also intended for washing hair.

Who it’s for

For lovers of white musk, milky textures and understated, skin-like fragrances who want those qualities in their cleansing routine. Especially appealing to those who prefer softly aromatic and floral nuances to sharp citrus or overtly sweet bath products.

The nose

Pierre Guillaume created the fragrance that scents this wash. Known for combining technical curiosity with tactile, wearable compositions, he often explores milky textures, gourmand accents and unusual aromatic contrasts. His work includes Musc Maori and Bois Blond; Le Musc & La Peau revisits Musc Maori’s milky musk theme without its chocolate coating, shifting the focus toward the sensuality of skin.

Pierre Guillaume - Parfumerie Générale’s story

Pierre Guillaume’s independent house connects scientific technique with an inventive, personal approach to perfumery. Its compositions balance unexpected ideas with wearability, supported by in-house design and manufacturing. The Le Bain collection extends that approach into everyday cleansing and body care.

Le Musc & La Peau hand and body wash’s concept

Introduced in spring 2020 as part of the inaugural Le Bain collection, this wash brings the established Le Musc & La Peau fragrance into the bathing routine. The underlying perfume reinterprets Musc Maori’s “Milk of Musk” idea, removing its chocolate character to explore the softness and sensuality of skin.

Extra info

The wash debuted in a 500 ml format as one of four scents in the Le Bain collection, each offered as both a cleansing gel and a hand-and-body lotion. Its cleansing base includes sodium cocoyl glutamate, and the formula is SLS-free and paraben-free.
