The emotional statement to Freedom.
The perfume was inspired by walks along the fast flowing and vibrant River Thames in London.
Passing by leafy, graceful London iconic plane (platanus) trees arcing over the river with spherical fruits on strings, induce the emotional connection with Nature.
The large white Chrysanthemum plays the main character in the composition.
Feeling protected, loved, connected.
All about this fragrance
Vibe check
Riverwalk suits the moment you step away from a crowded afternoon and take the longer route beside the water. Lemon and bitter leaves suggest alertness rather than escape; chrysanthemum and moss bring a quieter, grounded presence as the pace slows.
How to wear
Try it in mild spring or autumn weather, when its citrus-green opening and mossy warmth can sit in balance. Start with one or two sprays on skin beneath a light layer, allowing the extrait to warm gradually. In hotter weather or close quarters, begin with less and assess before adding more.
Who it’s for
For those drawn to bitter greens, leafy citrus and mossy compositions rather than sugary florals or overtly watery freshness. Its chrysanthemum centre offers an unusual floral focus, balanced by resinous woods and the softer warmth of coumarin and benzoin.

The nose
Eglija Vaitkevice, Exaltatum’s founder and perfumer, approaches fragrance as an emotional narrative built from colour, texture and memory. Her work draws on places, art and nature, selecting materials for their expressive potential. In Riverwalk, she translates solitary Thames-side walks into a contrast between cool, bitter greenery and underlying warmth.
Exaltatum’s story
Exaltatum creates personal, emotionally expressive perfumes rooted in nature, art, places and human stories. Rather than assigning a fixed meaning to each scent, the house invites wearers to find their own associations. Its material-led approach favours patient maturation and small-scale, hand-filled production.
Riverwalk’s concept
Riverwalk grew from long, solitary walks beside the Thames through an unusually empty London. Sheltering plane trees and the moving river offered a sense of connection amid loneliness and vulnerability. White chrysanthemum anchors the composition, while bitter greenery and a warmer foundation express the tension between exposure and protection.
Extra info
Despite its riverside name, Riverwalk’s published notes contain no explicit aquatic accord. Fig leaves, artemisia and oakmoss support its green character, while the large white chrysanthemum is the central floral image.
