Robertet is a bit like De Beers of the fine natural perfume materials - matières premières, for decades they have been dealing with the finest, purest and most precious stuff a perfumer can dream of.

This is Marcelle, a classic elegant cologne but with highly likely the best bergamot from Italy, grapefruit from Spain, neroli from Tunisia and petigrain from Paraguay among other notes in the formula.

For here we have an example of aromatic tailoring of the finest order; a fragrant citrus head has been carefully woven into a delightfully musky floral base from which gentle woody notes ascend forth.

This soft tropical skin scent opens with a burst of bright bergamot and lemon zest, setting the stage for a heart of creamy jasmine and coconut water. Floral notes of rose, neroli, orange blossom and geranium unfold beneath, adding a delicate, sunlit richness.
