Inspired by the traditional Provençal sweet Calisson, an almond-shaped paste of candied fruit topped with fondant icing. This edp launches with bergamot and sugary milk. Fresh orange blossom radiates from the heart, supported by a warm and creamy sandalwood. Base notes of caramel, vanilla and musk complete the mouth-watering effect.

In Arabic, Lamar means “liquid gold”, the legendary potion long sought by alchemists in search of immortality. This generous fruity-floral embraces the eternity of living in the moment. In creating Lamar, perfumer Mark Buxton said, “My inspiration was to create a rich, natural, warm, long lasting fragrance, by using high quality natural products. This gives a feeling of walking through a bed of roses or a jasmine field – very feminine and sensual.” Lamar opens with a festival of berries, apple and pineapple. The heart notes glow with jasmine sambac, Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose and magnolia. Vanilla, musk and amber supply the softest landing.

Miréa brings the wearer a delicious dose of Riviera sun. The fruity, musky notes create a classic Molinard moment. Hasbaya is a city in Lebanon, and Néroli Hasbaya is inspired by a Lebanese dessert called mouhalabieh, a milk pudding flavoured with orange blossom and pistachio. This extrait opens with incandescent neroli, wrapped in nutty’n’buttery hints of pistachio and almond. Orange blossom reveals its full depth in the base, and the creamy richness of sandalwood and Peruvian balsam enhance the enfolding trail of this radiant perfume.

The rose in Italian is “la rosa”. Reverse the perspective, come at it from a different angle, go right to left, and you get “Asoral”. This extrait burrows into the very essence of a young, dewy-petalled rose, taking you on a journey from the outside world to the inner you. This is achieved with a union of Turkish rose and Rosa Lani, a complex rose with vibrations of liquorice, tea and hay.
